Dr. Chris Johnson is a highly trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon known for his precision, artistry, and dedication to exceptional outcomes in cosmetic and restorative procedures of the face and neck. He completed advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University—home to the nation’s longest-standing and one of its most respected programs.

Before his fellowship, Dr. Johnson completed an intensive five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Augusta University Health. During his training, he repeatedly earned top national scores on annual in-service examinations, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and continuous advancement of his surgical expertise.

His academic achievements were further recognized when he was inducted into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, an honor extended only to the highest-performing medical students.

Dr. Johnson’s educational background is exceptionally broad and scientifically rigorous. Prior to medical school, he earned both a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Georgia, providing him with a deep foundation in biomedical science, pharmacology, and patient safety.

A dedicated contributor to the advancement of his field, Dr. Johnson has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and scientific presentations on rhinoplasty, facial reanimation, and complex head and neck conditions. His work appears in respected journals such as Head & Neck and The Laryngoscope, and he has helped publish innovative techniques in modern facial plastic surgery. He also served as Section Co-Editor for Current Otorhinolaryngology Reports in the area of functional rhinoplasty.
